We are a Christian family behind Swatara Creek Labradors, residing in Central Pennsylvania, Lebanon county. I enjoyed the breed since I was a girl and had a labrador of my very own. Years later I see the same passion for animals in our children!
Every puppy born here grows up surrounded by lots of different experiences. Including varying sounds, children, different walking surfaces, riding in the car. Our children enjoy helping complete the 7-7-7 exposure list for each puppy before they reach the important socialization window.

They have a rich double coat, otter tail, large chest, and blocky heads-everything a labrador with the correct structure should have. We also strive for great pigmentation. Most Importantly, they have that warm, affectionate temperament that has made the Labrador Retriever the Most loved family companion in America.

Our Story
More Than a Breeder, We’re a Family
What started as a love for Labradors and the great outdoors grew into something we never imagined. My journey began years ago with our first Labrador. As a young girl my dog Ruby was a loyal companion, waiting for me the moment I came home from school! Our dog gave the opportunity to practice being responsible and opened up the nurturing part of me. It opened my eyes to the incredible bond between a dog and its family.
Years later we purchased a red labrador from an acqaintance, thinking we’ll keep her as our one family pet. We didn’t know the differences between american and English bloodlines. She had intense energy. We thought when she reached two years she would calm down but that was not the case. Needless to say, it was hair raising! This is when we did our research on the different blood lines. After the great experience of the more laid-back English blood lines as a family pet we decided on sharing these lovable pets with others!
Every puppy that leaves our home carries with it the values we hold dear: health, temperament, and a readiness to be a beloved companion for life.
